WHO IS PRETTYBOI?
PrettyBoi is an artist, musician, & filmmaker currently based in Los Angeles. A true Renaissance woman, she has enjoyed working in virtually every aspect of her creative projects, and in quite a variety of artistic mediums.
As an artist, PrettyBoi has done everything from creating traditional artpieces and installations to publishing eccentric Japanese style manga cartoons.
As a musician, she composes, writes, and records all of her own music. A classic singer / songwriter with an edge, her creative energy seems to have no bounds whether it be directing her own music videos or screaming out a performance so hard that she passes out.
In film she often takes on her creative projects from start to finish, and has played director, producer, first assistant director, casting director, sound recordist, writer, actress, and even storyboard artist in her various film endeavors.
But PrettyBoi is more than just a struggling artist. She is an academic, an entrepreneur, a visionary.
Her social research on the topic of gender performance earned her an internationally recognized award from the Alpha Kappa Delta International Sociological Honors Society.
Her intricately woven screenplays and dynamic characters have received attention from filmmakers and festivals.
And what's more, her charisma and charm have earned her quite a reputation with the ladies... WINK!
